Keyword Searching
- Keyword searches look through the words in a bibliographic record, including
author, title, publisher, table of contents, notes, subject(s),
etc. Compare this to subject searching
which looks only at assigned subject headings.

- PILOT allows two kinds of keyword searching: Keyword Boolean
and Keyword Ranked
- Keyword searching may be done on both the
Search Tab and the
Guided Search Tab
