....[Lawrence´s] next venture in translation was self-aborted.
Cape had offered him...Sturly by Pierre Custor....On Christmas Day,
1923, he wrote Cape that he had wanted to send the completed work as a
Christmas present, but that it was not yet ready. "I´m afraid I´m not good
as a translator,...indeed what the hell I am good for God only Knows."
