Welcome to West Chester University's Office of Cultural Affairs Website. The Office of Cultural Affairs enhances the University's role as a regional performing arts center by providing diverse programs and lecturers. Legendary poet, Maya Angelou appeared in the Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall on March 30, 2000 as a part of the Philips Lecture Series. Holocaust historian and lecturer, Elie Wiesel spoke in the Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall on October 2, 2000 as a part of the Philips Lecture Series.
