State lauds WCU's champs
July 3, 2012
On June 28, the coaches and representatives from WCU's two national championship teams in field hockey and baseball were honored by the state senate and the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education's Board of Governors. Participating in the visit were (l to r): baseball head coach Jad Prachniak; third baseman Justin Lamborn; Senator Robert Tomlinson, pitcher Joe Gunkel; Bryn Adams, Division II national field hockey Player of the Year; Senator Andrew Dinniman; field hockey defender Karly Herb; field hockey head coach Amy Cohen; and President Weisenstein.
