A Musical Diagnosis: Tourette's Syndrome and Beethoven's Quartet in F minor, Op. 95. Beethoven’s String Quartet in F Minor does not need analysis, but rather a diagnosis. It displays, musically speaking, all the symptoms of Tourette’s Syndrome, from ticks, triggers, and echolalia, to outbursts and periods of calm.
