FROM NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE (NORTH OR SOUTH)

Take exit #6 for PA Turnpike. Follow PA Turnpike West for approximately 35 miles to exit #24, Valley Forge. After paying toll, take exit 26 S (Paoli 202S), then stay to left. Follow 202 south for approximately 20 minutes. Take 1st exit beyond traffic light (marked West Chester University). This exit puts you onto High Street heading north towards the Borough of West Chester and the University (McDonald’s on your right). Continue north on High Street to the next traffic light at Rosedale Avenue where the cornerstone of the University is located.

FROM DELAWARE MEMORIAL BRIDGE, N.J.

Cross bridge - follow signs for 95 N (Wilmington). Get on 95 N and travel through Wilmington to exit for 202 N (Concord Pike). Bear left on exit ramp. Follow 202 North. At Routes l and 202, you are 7 miles from West Chester. As you are approaching West Chester, you’ll note that 202 North bears to your right (a Holiday Inn is located at this junction). Do not bear to your right - go straight following signs for Business District; High Street which will take you under the overpass. This is now High Street as you approach the University. Continue north on High Street for two traffic lights until you come to Rosedale Avenue where the cornerstone of the University is located.

FROM DELAWARE, MARYLAND, WASHINGTON, D.C., ETC.

FROM COMMODORE BARRY BRIDGE, N.J.

Coming from either North or South on New Jersey Route 295, follow signs for 322 West, the bridge is on 322 West. Cross the bridge and continue to follow 322 west to Route 1. Turn left on Route 1 to Route 202 north.. Turn right onto Route 202. At this point you are 7 miles from West Chester. As you are approaching West Chester, you’ll note that 202 North bears to your right (a Holiday Inn is located at this junction). FROM WALT WHITMAN BRIDGE, N.J.

Cross bridge and follow signs for 95 S and 29l S. Follow 95 S past the Philadelphia airport to exit for 322 W. Follow 322 W to route l. Turn left on Route 1 to 202 N. Follow 202 N for approximately 7 miles. As you are approaching West Chester, you’ll note that 202 North bears to your right (a Holiday Inn is located at this point). Do not bear to your right - go straight following signs for Business District; High Street which will take you under the overpass. This is now High Street as you approach the University. Continue north on High Street for two traffic lights until you come to Rosedale Avenue where the cornerstone of the University is located.

FROM WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA

Take PA turnpike to Downingtown exit - #23. Turn left onto Route 100 South. Follow Route 100 to 202 South (Wilmington). Take 202 South through West Chester exits. Follow 202 S until you see the exit marked West Chester University. This exit puts you onto High Street heading north towards the Borough of West Chester and the University (McDonald’s on your right). Continue north on High Street for two traffic lights until you come to Rosedale Avenue where the cornerstone of the University is located.

FROM ALLENTOWN, BETHLEHEM, ETC.

Take Northeast Extension of Turnpike (route 9 S) to PA Turnpike west. Follow turnpike to Valley Forge exit - #24. Continue about l/4 mile to 202 S (exit 26 S). Exit and stay to left on 202 S. Continue on 202 for approximately 20 minutes. Take 1st exit beyond traffic light (marked West Chester University). This exit puts you onto High Street heading north towards the Borough of West Chester and the University (McDonald’s on your right). Continue north on High Street too the next traffic light which is Rosedale Avenue where the cornerstone of the University is located.

FROM PHILADELPHIA USING ROUTE 3

Take Route 3 (West Chester Pike) into Borough of West Chester. Turn left onto High Street and travel south approximately nine blocks to Rosedale Avenue. The cornerstone of the University is located at the corner of High Street and Rosedale Avenue.

FROM SCHUYLKILL EXPRESSWAY

Take Schuylkill Expressway (Rt. 76 West) to Exit 26B. Follow Rt. 202 South for approximately 20 minutes. Take 1st exit beyond traffic light (marked West Chester University). This exit puts you onto High Street heading north towards the Borough of West Chester and the University (McDonald’s on your right). Continue north on High Street to the next traffic light which is Rosedale Avenue where the cornerstone of the University is located.

Parking

E. O. Bull Center - from the cornerstone of the University, turn right (if traveling north on High Street) or left (if traveling south on High Street) onto Rosedale Avenue. The driveway to the parking lot is located just beyond the first building (E.O.Bull Center) on your right. Turn right into lot.
