Welcome to the Research Office
The Research Office provides administrative and technical support and oversight to faculty and staff in the development and submission of proposals to external organizations, including federal, state, and private-sector sponsors, to support research, scholarly, and creative activities. We manage all pre-award activities and the intellectual property development process, including patent applications and commercialization agreements. We collaborate with faculty and staff from all academic units and other campus offices to encourage the submission of grant and contract applications. We work with Fiscal Affairs and other offices responsible for post-award management to ensure that grant-funded activities are implemented effectively and that Principal Investigators are knowledgeable of policies and procedures.

First Monthly Research Roundtable
Thursday, 25 September, from 12:30 - 1:30 PM in the Sturzebecker HSC 301B conference room on the South campus.
This will be an opportunity to talk with other faculty about your research interests, hear from them as well, and see if your interests overlap. Or you can just come to learn about what other faculty do for their research, scholarly and creative activities.
Faculty who wish to attend will have around 5-10 minutes to talk about their research. Then we will have a casual group discussion about how we can support these endeavors and what assistance you need from the research office and the administration.
Space in this conference room is limited, so if you would like to attend, please email firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday, 22 September, in order to reserve your spot.
