Summer Undergraduate Research Institute (SURI)

Call for student and faculty mentor applications: Deadline for 2017 has past. Watch for next application deadline in Spring 2018

West Chester University’s Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) developed a month-long summer research experience to which current WCU undergraduates may apply. Approximately ten to fifteen Undergraduate Research Fellows will spend five weeks during Summer Session I (30 May through 29 June 2017) conducting research and scholarly/creative work that is supported by a community of faculty mentors. SURI is designed to allow current WCU students to pursue a significant research question, contribute to a scholarly endeavor, or to produce an artistic or creative work, while being mentored by a WCU faculty member.
