Academic Interests:
I teach a course on imagination and writing, the honors capstone course, and a film class on school movies.  My scholarly interests include writing pedagogy, critical pedagogy, feminism, and film studies.

Fun Facts:
I have an adorable gray cat named “ Kitty Hawk .”  I named her after a very enjoyable week on the Outerbanks in North Carolina .  I express myself creatively through cooking, gardening, and teaching.
