Welcome ADP Students

2017-2018 Academic Year

February 15th is our priority deadline.

  • Complete your 2017-2018 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by our priority deadline. By submitting your FAFSA by our February 15th priority deadline, you will also meet the PA State Grant May 1st deadline.
    • PHEAA (The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency) may request additional information via e-mail, so please check your e-mail account(s) on a regular basis. If you did not print off and mail in your State Grant form when you filed your FAFSA you will need to do so online at pheaa.org.
  • You and your parent will each need an FSA ID to sign the FAFSA. Securing an FSA ID is part of completing the FAFSA. This FSA ID will be used as your electronic signature.
  • You will use your FSA ID to complete your Direct Loan Master Promissory Note (MPN) and Entrance Counseling at studentloans.gov should you receive and accept a Federal Direct Student Loan.

IMPORTANT!!! - ACT 101 Eligibility
In addition to completing the Act 101 Financial Assessment Form you MUST complete the 2017-2018 FAFSA. The results of the FAFSA will be used to determine eligibility for Act 101.

Students selected for Verification may be required to provide income information and documents to confirm the information provided on the 2017-2018 FAFSA.

Summer Aid

May 1st is our priority deadline.

  • To be considered for financial assistance for the summer, you are required to complete the 2016-2017 FAFSA* and submit the ADP Summer Aid Application to our office. The Summer Aid Application will be included in the materials you receive in your acceptance packet from the Admissions Office.
  • Please DO NOT submit the summer application until you have submitted the 2016-2017 FAFSA.
  • If you submit the Summer Application, but do not submit the 2016-2017 FAFSA, you will not be offered federal financial aid for the summer.
  • If your FAFSA is selected for verification, you cannot be offered federal financial aid until the verification is complete. If you were selected for verification and you need verification forms to complete this process, please contact tnuccio@wcupa.edu
  • If you have a student loan in your summer aid package, it will not appear on your bill/account summary if it has not been ACCEPTED on MyWCU.

If your financial aid covers your bill, please contact the Bursar's Office at (610) 436-2552 to:

  1. Activate your account (confirm your enrollment)
  2. Obtain information on using the excess funding to purchase your books

IMPORTANT: If you will need financial aid for the summer, please remember to file TWO FAFSA forms. You will need to file both the 2016-2017 FAFSA and the 2017-2018 FAFSA to be considered for federal funding.
