Biography
Dr. Commisso is an Assistant Professor who completed her PhD in Special Education at Lehigh University. She is a certified special education teacher in Pennsylvania where she taught high school special education for seven years. While at Lehigh, Dr. Commisso worked as a research assistant on an IES-funded grant investigating adaptive frameworks to support teachers with students who have behavior difficulties. Dr. Commisso received her B.S., M.S., and Supervisory Certificate from Bloomsburg University. Dr. Commisso's research interests include utilizing exercise as an intervention and supporting teachers who have students with behavior difficulties in the classroom.
