A Daily Crime Log is maintained and available at the Department of Public Safety, Peoples Bldg, 690 South Church St. West Chester PA 19383. The Daily Crime Log is a record of all crimes reported in the last 60 days, to the WCU Police Department. You may obtain a copy of the log in person, or by calling 610-436-3478.
All On-Campus Emergencies:
Contact the Police Dispatcher at 610-436-3311 or dial x3311 from an on campus extension. You can also use any of the campus Emergency Phones located across campus and inside most of our buildings, parking lots, and parking garages. Simply push the button to automatically connect to the Public Safety Police Communications Center.
You can also report incidents in person at our station located at 690 South Church Street.

Unwanted Prescription Drug Disposal Program

The mission of the West Chester University Department of Public Safety (WCUDPS) is to maintain a safe, orderly and inviting environment for our students, employees and guests to study, work and enjoy all of what the university has to offer. WCUDPS pursues this mission within the framework of the University’s Strategic Plan objectives of Academics, Enrichment, Sustainability, Diversity and Engagement. This is done by protecting life and property, enforcing all laws and university regulations, preventing and detecting crime, and apprehending and prosecuting violators.
