PARADE COMING THROUGH AT 10:30am

This year, our newest tradition Church St. Fest will be combined with the annual Homecoming Parade.  Church St. Fest will begin at 10AM on Church Street between Sharpless Street and Rosedale Avenue.  At 10:30AM, the parade will begin at the north side of Church Street and continue South until Rosedale Avenue.  Look out for the usual parade lineup featuring the WCU Incomparable Golden Ram Marching Band, the WCU Cheerleaders, and Rammy plus performances by the WCU Dance Team and various student organizations.

 The primary viewing area for the parade will be at the crossroad between Church Street and University Avenue with additional seating provided.  After the parade, stick around for the rest of Church St. Fest, which includes:

  • Inflatables, games, and activities for all ages
  • Live music
  • Spirit Stations where you can stock up on free WCU gear
  • Local food trucks with a variety of food and drinks for purchase

We welcome you back as you visit with friends, connect with fellow alums, meet student volunteers, listen to our live music, and celebrate your Ram Pride.  Join us on October 26th to partake in WCU’s newest tradition!
