WCU Homecoming Parade 2019
West Chester University is excited to provide a new take on an old classic. This year, the annual Homecoming Parade will be held in conjunction with our newest tradition Church St. Fest. This event is open to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members.
This year’s theme is Wild Wild West Chester!
Parade Information:
Date: October 26, 2019
Start Time: Church St. Fest begins at 10AM, Parade begins at 10:30AM
Location: Church Street. The primary viewing area for the parade will be at the crossroad between Church Street and University Avenue with additional seating provided.
This is a rain or shine event.
The main portion of the parade will be taking place on the north end of Church Street and stopping at the crossroad of Church Street and University Avenue. Watch as your WCU favorites like the Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band, the WCU Cheerleaders, and Rammy make their way through the parade. Following them will be WCU student clubs and organizations showing off their school pride with banners and performances!
After the parade, stick around for the rest of Church St. Fest featuring activities and games, prizes and giveaways, live music, and fun for the entire family.
For student groups participating in the parade please meet between 7:30am and 8:45am in Lot B behind the Business and Public Management Building.
