- STEM Presenters:
RSVP is looking for juniors and seniors majoring in STEM fields (science, technology,
engineering, and math) to do a presentation for public schools students (via Zoom)
about their career interests (e.g., what they are studying; why they chose their major;
their college experience; and what they hope to do with their college degree).
- Math Tutors:
Virtually tutor students that need help with math. This opportunity requires volunteers
to have or obtain their clearances.
- Literacy Volunteer:
Read books to students (K-4th grade), via Zoom. This opportunity requires volunteers
to have or obtain their clearances.
- Volunteer Executive Consultants:
RSVP is looking for students (especially business majors) to support non-profit organization
leaders in building their capacity. Students will be matched with small teams (2-4)
of volunteer professionals and executives to address an organizational need identified
by a local non-profit (e.g., developing a strategic plan; developing and/or implementing
a marketing campaign.)

The Coalition Against Hunger’s programs connect people to emergency food, food assistance
programs and educate the public and policymakers about responsible solutions to prevent
hunger.
The WCU Foundation has started a COVID-19 Emergency Fund to assist students who are
experiencing food/housing insecurity, lost wages, and other hardships because of this
