WCU Statesmen Concert

The Statesmen Jazz Ensemble provides students with the chance to perform in a large jazz ensemble setting, where they can explore and master a diverse jazz repertoire. Under the guidance of experienced faculty, students learn essential jazz playing techniques, including improvisation, swing, and ensemble cohesion. The concert will feature a variety of jazz styles, from classic big band standards to contemporary jazz compositions, showcasing the versatility and talent of our student musicians.
Expect an evening filled with dynamic performances, intricate rhythms, and soulful melodies. Whether you’re a long-time jazz aficionado or new to the genre, this concert promises to be an engaging and memorable experience.
