Bio
Dr. Kristin Kondrlik is an Associate Professor of English at West Chester University, where she works as a specialist in technical writing with a focus in health communication and writing history and theory. Kondrlik is a 2016 graduate of Case Western Reserve University (CWRU), where she earned a Ph.D. in English with a concentration in Writing History and Theory (WHiT). She also received an M.A. in English from CWRU in 2011, and a B.A. in English and Political Science from Canisius College in 2008. Kondrlik's research interests are in medical writing and rhetoric, print culture studies of the nineteenth century, and technical communication practice and pedagogy.
