Bio

Dr. Edward Lordan teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in a variety of communications areas, including public relations, advertising, media history, international media, and sports journalism and marketing. At West Chester University he has served as the Communication Studies Graduate Coordinator and Internship Director and he served as a decade as chair of the university's Academic Recognition Committee. He is the author of six books and two dozen academic journal articles and presents regularly at communications-related conferences. Lordan has published work on television newsroom policies, rhetorical strategies for convincing Americans to go to war, communication crises in sports and the history of editorial cartoons in the United States. Lordan also conducts summer courses on media history and structure in Europe, including classes taught in the Republic of Ireland and London, England.
