West Chester’s Wells School of Music Presents
SPRING CHORAL FESTIVAL

WEST CHESTER, Pa. ­­— Three West Chester University choral groups will perform in the Spring Choral Fest on Thursday, April 11 at 8:15 p.m. The concert takes place in the Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall, Philips Memorial Building, 700 S. High Street, West Chester. The concert is FREE and open to the public. Ryan Kelly and David P. DeVenney direct.

The Spring Choral Festival is the culminating concert for three of West Chester’s ensemble choirsStudents Perform in Choral Fest. at West Chester University: Men’s Chorus, Women’s Chorus and Cantari Donne, a select advanced women’s chorus. The program includes selections by Gustav Holst (I Will Magnify Thee, O God), Benjamin Britten (Missa Brevis in D), and Henry Purcell (Come, Ye Sons of Art.)

Featured soloists include faculty members In Young Lee, soprano and Associate Professor of Voice, and Emily Bullock, alto and Chair of Applied Music, Associate Professor Vocal/Choral. Tenor JR Schmitt also performs as a soloist.
