West Chester University Student Publishes Book about Relationship with Brother Who Has Autism
West Chester University junior Josh Stehle is bringing autism awareness to the world through his new book, I am a Superhero Expert: Growing Up with my Autistic Brother. The book highlights his experiences with his older brother, Zach Stehle, who is on the autism spectrum. Josh and Zach will be interviewed on FOX 29’s Good Day Philadelphia on Friday, March 10, during the 8 a.m. hour.
WCU has the Dub-C Autism Program (D-CAP), which works successfully to build an inclusive and accepting campus community to better support the experiences and successes of degree-seeking students with autism through indirect and direct supports. Josh is a D-CAP ally and recently presented a signed copy of the book to Cherie Fishbaugh, director of autism services.
The Stehle brothers have an active social media presence as “The Stehle Bros” and have received millions of views on Instagram. They were featured in a recent Patch article and in Main Line Today.
