More than 1,000 to Graduate at Winter Commencement Ceremonies
There are 1,017 students poised to begin the next chapters of their lives following graduation from West Chester University at four separate winter commencement exercises being held Friday and Saturday, December 13 and 14.
Three ceremonies organized by college will accommodate the 769 undergraduate students eligible to graduate at the University’s undergraduate commencement ceremonies in Hollinger Fieldhouse on North Campus. The number of graduates includes 8 students who completed their coursework at the Philadelphia location this summer or this fall.
In addition, 248 graduate-level students from all of the University’s colleges and sites will receive their degrees together at a 9 a.m. ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 14, in Hollinger. This number includes 8 students who completed their coursework at the Philadelphia location this summer or this fall.
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 13
6 p.m. College of Science & Mathematics, College of Arts & Humanities, Wells School of Music (undergraduates)
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 14
9 a.m. Graduate School (all Colleges)
12 p.m. College of Business and Public Management, University College (undergraduates)
3 p.m. College of Health Sciences, College of Education and Social Work (undergraduates)
Tickets are required for all ceremonies. All ceremonies will be live streamed for those who do not have a ticket or who are unable to attend. Recordings of all ceremonies will be available here.
Graduating students and their guests are strongly encouraged to park in the garages on New and Sharpless streets, which will be free during the weekend ceremonies.
