Tamagawa University returns to West Chester University for a performance of thundering
Taiko drumming and folkloric Japanese dance on Tuesday, April 8, at 7:30 p.m. The event
takes place in the Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall, Philips Memorial Building, 700
S. High Street, West Chester. Tickets range in price from $15 - $25, and are now on

Tamagawa University performs styles that are both modern and traditional and come together for a performance that is both athletic and graceful. The show is a visually stunning display of art and artistry that has become an annual favorite for West Chester University audiences.
From the College of Arts in Tokyo, Tamagawa University has been touring the world since 1961, visiting Mexico, England, Greece, Canada, Malaysia, Russia, Indonesia, Africa, and the United States. The troupe has toured extensively on the East Coast, including performances at the Kennedy Center and the National Cherry Blossom Festival. This is their 13th year performing at West Chester University.
