The West Chester Borough Police are investigating a shooting that occurred at approximately 9:11 pm to the rear of 212 East Market Street. The Borough Police described the shooter as a Black Male wearing a white shirt and a black hat. No further description was available and no direction of travel was provided. The shooter is not in custody at this time. The campus community is cautioned to be aware of their surroundings and to report all suspicious situations. The campus community is encouraged to program 911 and 610-436-3311 into their cell phones.
