Welcome to the health and physical education homepage! We have been training health and physical education teachers since 1889 and are well known for the quality of our program. We offer an undergraduate degree leading to teacher certification for both first year students, transfer students, and second degree students. Graduates qualify for a Pennsylvania license to teach K-12 health and physical education. Pennsylvania does not offer separate licenses for health education and physical education, only one dual-license in health and physical education. We invite you to learn more about our program and consider West Chester University as your school of choice!
Mission
