- What is the primary mission of your group
"To provide produce to the WCU Resource Pantry. Secondary goals include contributing to sustainability on campus and providing volunteering and service learning opportunities for students." - What events/accomplishments did your group complete in the last academic year?
"Last academic year was our first year donating produce to the WCU Resource pantry. We also constructed cold frames in the hopes of maintaining a four season harvest and began receiving food scraps from the Nutrition Food lab to compost." - What events or goals do you have for this academic year?
"This year we aim to repair our cold frames which were damaged last winter and better serve the Resource Pantry by tailoring our production to their needs." - What is one thing you would like to share regarding your student group that is important
for everyone to understand/know?
"Any student is welcome to access the resource pantry and we strongly encourage students to take advantage of the produce we provide!" - Who is your faculty advisor?
"The faculty advisor is Dr. Ashlie Delshad but, as she is on sabbatical Fall 2018, Dr. Lynn Monahan took her place. Dr. Joan Welch also oversees the North Campus Gardens."
