demonstrate how to be an effective preceptor and mentor.

Guide to Being an Effective Preceptor Part 2
Preceptors can earn 1 CPEU by viewing the Part 2 of the NDEP webinar from 2020 titled, "Guide to Being an Effective Preceptor Part 2." The webinars main objectives are to: recognize important aspects of orienting new interns, distinguish characteristics of interns in relation to helping them succeed, demonstrate effective oral feedback provision for interns, select appropriate intern evaluation tools, and identify strategies to overcome challenges in different rotations. Presented by WCU’s Assistant Professor of Nutrition, Dr. Sandy Sarcona, and Becky Wojcik, MS, RDN, LDN.

*This program is approved for RDs, RDNs, DTRs and NDTRs under Activity Type 175 in accordance with CDR guidelines. RDs and RDNs may claim up to 15 CPEUs under this CPE Activity Type in a recertification cycle; DTRs and NDTRs may claim up to 10 CPEUs.
CPEUs for Precepting
