This is a reminder that some University-issued Windows computers used by faculty and staff are unable to access the internet, due to a product update released by MalwareBytes on Saturday, January 27th. The best course of action at this time is to UNINSTALL the product. We kindly ask for your assistance in identifying affected computers in your area, and following these 3 steps to uninstall MalwareBytes.

On Windows computers

1. Choose the State menu, type in Programs and Features, Click on Programs and Features.

2. Scroll through the alphabetical list and click on MalwareBytes Managed Client to highlight it.

3. Click the Uninstall button near the top.

If you need help uninstalling, or if the problem persists after uninstalling, please contact the Help Desk by calling 610-436-3350.
