IS&T is in the final stages of migrating all existing email mailboxes to Exchange Online, part of the Office 365 cloud. This migration is referenced in Official Notice 20190514-146. All active student mailboxes and 90 percent of staff mailboxes have been successfully migrated so far. IS&T is now preparing to complete faculty mailboxes, and the remaining staff mailboxes by the end of December 2019.

Prior to being migrated, you will be notified when your account will be moved. Once the migration is complete, you will receive a follow up email. Mail will continue to be available during the transition. Beware of phishing scams!You will not need to do anything to activate, validate or expand your account. Key Benefits: Increased email capacity. Users will enjoy the benefits of larger mailboxes (from 3 GB to 50 GB) and email message size (150 MB). Optimized Collaboration. Exchange Online provides advanced cloud-based collaboration tools and services so users can collaborate quickly and effectively on any device anywhere.
