Please be advised that in order to complete the final phase of the Cisco UCM telephony project, inbound and outbound calls at WCU will be unavailable on Saturday, 12/12 from 2:00PM to 10:00PM EST. For emergency calls and users that need to contact Public Safety, please note the following:
1. If an individual on a campus phone calls 911 the call will be able to be answered by the communication center.
2. If an individual on a campus phone calls 3311 the call will be able to be answered by the communication center.
3. If an individual on a campus phone, cell phone, or any external phone calls 610-436-3311 the call will ring busy and will NOT be able to be answered by the communication center.
4. During the phone outage on 12/12 from 2:00pm thru 10:00pm the individual must call 610-738-0319 in order to contact the communication center directly.
5. During the phone outage on 12/12 from 2:00pm thru 10:00pm all campus phones will only be able to call internal phones or call 911 to the communication center.
6. As an FYI, No campus phone will be able to make any outbound calls, including the communication center phones.
