IS&T Official Notice 20220802-401

This email was sent to: Active Students, Employees, Retired Employees

This is a reminder that changes will be made to WCU's multi-factor authentication tool, Duo today, August 2nd. The Duo authentication prompt will have a new look and streamlined verification process to help you quickly access applications. Please note that the most secure and recommended authentication method is a Duo Push which uses the Duo Mobile App. Also note that the Call Me method for authentication will no longer be offered after August 2nd, but the text messages passcode option will still be available.

For more information click the article below which provides a visual comparison of the current and new Duo authentication prompts. https://wcupaprod.service-now.com/kb_view.do?sysparm_article=KB0011391

Remember, never approve a Duo authentication request that you did not initiate.

If you have any questions, please contact the Help Desk at https://www.wcupa.edu/servicenow or 610-436-3350.
