We are pleased to provide the attached presidential prospectus that outlines the campus community’s hopes and aspirations for our 16th president. Included in this document is a description of the role of the president at West Chester University, the qualifications (including priorities for leadership and principal responsibilities) identified during 26 listening sessions where over 239 individuals provided feedback, in addition to the challenges and opportunities that await the next president.
Additionally, the prospectus includes a description of our mission, vision, and values, as well as a review of our institution’s history and its governance structures. But, perhaps most importantly, the document clearly articulates our institutional priorities, including: academics; campus life and housing; athletics; arts; diversity, equity, and inclusion; and, sustainability. In addition, it describes the incredible support we have from the WCU Foundation and Alumni Association in advancing our university’s mission. And it includes a review of our amazing locations both in West Chester and Philadelphia.
