Subject: Presidential search update
I write this morning to update you on the progress of our presidential search. Last evening at its regularly schedule Council of Trustees’ meeting, the Council voted unanimously to recommend that Dr. Laurie Bernotsky be considered by the State System’s Board of Governors to be the 16th President of West Chester University. We anticipate that the Board of Governors will consider Dr. Bernotsky’s candidacy before the end of the fall 2023 semester and we will advise you when that public vote is scheduled to be held.
The Trustees have asked that I pass along their deep appreciation to the Search Committee for their excellent work and to all members of the campus community who participated in the process.
