Below you will find resources that can help you along your journey as a STEM major from Peer Mentoring Meetings to the Let's Chat Series to talks from STEM professionals on their career in STEM. We will also be providing career readiness workshops on resume writing, job searching, and interview skill. In addition, you will find out ways you can help reach students in Grades 3 - 12 through our outreach programs.

Are you eligible for Federal Work Study? Do you want to work with students in elementary through high school, introducing them to science phenomena and advising on how to pursue a career in STEM? You can help us motivate and inform students in with the WCU Center for STEM Inclusion. Mathematics Colloquium

The WCU Mathematics Department is proud to announce that Jo Boaler will be presenting a lecture on "The Role of Mindset Mathematics in the Pursuit of High Achievement and Equitable Outcomes." Dr. Boaler is a Professor of Mathematics Education at Stanford University and is world leader in the field of curriculum and administration development. BBC listed her as "one of the 8 educators changing the face of education." This event will take place on September 26th at 4 PM in Main Hall 168; registration is required. Career Resources

No Limits Leadership Women in Tech Experience - November 8th from 1PM - 4 PM.

Held by the Main Line Chamber of Commerce, this dynamic event will provide students with critical STEM workforce preparation activities such as job searching and selection, how to develop a thriving career, how to make connections and break barriers for women in tech fields.
