Exploratory Studies Major Declaration Action Plan
As a first year exploratory studies student you are required to declare a major at the completion of 45 West Chester University earned credits. Our records show that you have earned or exceeded the number of credits required to remain undeclared. This means you should be making plans to declare your major.
Any exploratory studies student who has not declared a major after earning 45 credits is required to develop an action plan addressing his/her academic goals and area(s) of interest. This must be done BEFORE the advisor hold is lifted to enable the student schedule for the following semester.
Purpose of this Action Plan
Developing an academic plan will provide you the opportunity to stay on track to graduation. Also, having a detailed academic plan will help you complete your degree in a timely manner without spending money and time on courses that you may not need for your major.
