New Student Organizations

The process for new student organizations is now closed for the 2023-2024 academic year. The Student Government Association business meeting calendar is full, and the required meetings necessary for each step in the process are not able to be executed given the amount of time left in the semester. You are welcome to email involvement@wcupa.edu, however, you will not receive a response until June 1, with information about the process to start in September 2024.

So you want to create a club or organization? Everything you need to know to start creating a club or organization at WCU. Step 1: Do your research. We have over 270 clubs and organizations at WCU. Don't see one that fits your interests? Then it's time to start your own! Visit ramconnect.com to see a full list of all organizations currently recognized by WCU.

Step 2: The interest form - You've searched high and low and didn't see a club or organization that would fit your interest. Now it's time to fill out the interest form on wcupa.edu/sli. Tell us who you are and what kind of club or organization you would like to start! Step 3: Meet with an LC - Our leadership consultants are experts on the club and org recognition process! An LC will reach out to schedule a meeting to go over next steps for creating your club or organization. Email involvement@wcupa.edu with any questions!
