At this time, the CRRSAA Emergency Funding Application is on hold while we review the first batch of applications. The Financial Aid Office received close to 4000 applications within the first week, which is a record number. We appreciate your patience, as we work through this initial review to determine if we have any remaining funds to re-open the application . CARES Act Emergency Grant Funds
The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 included additional COVID-19 relief through the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act. This new COVID stimulus bill included $23 billion for higher education institutions and students, using the same Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) model established in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds
The applications for Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF) through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) are now closed and remaining funds are expected to be depleted when all applications received prior to the deadline are processed.
