Fraternity and Sorority Alumni

Fraternity and Sorority Life alumni are an instrumental part of any successful fraternity and sorority community. Graduates have the opportunity to serve in alumni chapters through which they meet and network with other members of their respective chapters. Alumni also volunteer on the local, regional, and national levels of their chapter to help create a more beneficial college experience for their younger brothers or sisters. Being a member of a fraternity or sorority does not end with graduation.

Opportunities for Fraternity and Sorority Alumni

Participation as an active member is different for everyone and evolves throughout one's life. United in friendship, service and philanthropy, academic excellence and leadership development, membership in a fraternity or sorority is different than any other student organization. Membership is a lifetime commitment. As the campus continues to grow and evolve, so does the impact of fraternity and sorority members on campus. The momentum of this growth is what we hope will fuel a reconnection of alumni members.

As an initiative of the WCU Strategic Plan, the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life and the Alumni Engagement Office are reestablishing a Fraternity and Sorority Alumni Board. The initial goal of this board is to foster involvement by alumni fraternity and sorority members through social and networking programs. Once established, this board will support current Alumni Advisory Boards for each chapter, assist in career connections for undergraduates, and serve as an advocate for the health and sustainability of the fraternity and sorority community.

As we approach nearly 60 years of fraternities and sororities at WCU, there is a lot to celebrate, even more work to be doneā€¦ and we need your help.
