Internships in marketing are designed to provide a substantive work experience in the business world as a means of enhancing a student's educational experience. About 100 area employers actively recruit marketing interns from over twenty industries including: consumer products marketing; marketing research agencies; pharmaceutical marketing/marketing research; software services marketing/marketing research; financial services marketing; sales training; and advertising.
