About These Filters
1. Expected Graduation Term
Accurate tracking of expected graduation dates is essential for academic planning and student support. This filter identifies the term a student has applied for graduation and is expected to complete their degree.
- Data Integration: This data is synced from the Student Information System (SIS) to Navigate360.
2. Last D2L Login
Monitoring student engagement through Learning Management System (LMS) interactions, such as D2L logins, provides valuable insights into academic participation.
- Data Integration: This filter pulls data from D2L into Navigate360, allowing faculty and advisors to track login activity and identify students who may need additional academic support.
3. Meal Swipes
Meal swipe data serves as an indicator of student well-being and campus engagement.
- Data Integration: Meal swipe usage is transferred into Navigate360, helping staff monitor patterns that could signal a need for additional student support.
Ways to Use These New Filters
- D2L Logins & Meal Swipes – Student Engagement Pulse Check
- Are students active on campus? Are they attending class? These filters help advisors, faculty, and coaches track patterns of engagement or disengagement. If a student is not swiping for meals and has limited D2L logins, this could indicate a need for outreach to support student wellness.
- D2L Logins – Class Participation Monitoring
- By adding this filter when running reports for specific courses, you can see students' D2L login activity, helping instructors identify those who may need additional academic support.
- Expected Graduation Term – Tracking Student Progress
- This filter helps monitor whether students have applied for graduation. It can be used to track individuals or groups within specific majors, departments, or colleges to support graduation planning and intervention strategies.
By leveraging these new filters, institutions can proactively support student success and well-being through data-driven insights and targeted interventions. If you need additional guidance, please reach out for support at Naviagate@wcupa.edu.
